Griot Circle, a social service organization serving older lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, two-spirit and transgender people (LGBTST), was already using WordPress, but needed their website updated, reconfigured and redesigned.
I led Griot Circle through a full re-design of their website with a mobile-friendly design, including a discovery process involving staff and board leaders. They maintain a busy schedule of events for elders at their location, and their redesign included a full-featured events calendar, a mobile-friendly design and a more stable host. I also set them up with MailChimp templates matching the feel of the new design and training for staff in how to administrate the site. I moved them to Dreamhost’s free nonprofit hosting to address persistent problems with their previous host.
The new site uses Google Analytics tools so they can tell what content users are interacting with, user actions on specific pages and how visitors arrive on the new website.
